Kiyotaka Ijichi was honest and didn’t deserve what happened to him

Kiyotaka Ijichi was introduced early in the story. He is the assistant director of the Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College. He is responsible for overseeing the auxiliary directors and assistants. It shows that he is a reliable and trustworthy person. He also works as a driver and organizes activities related to sorcery.

He always dresses like a bureaucrat and has a formal attitude towards everyone. Kiyotaka Ijichi is reserved and doesn’t share much about himself, always focusing on the mission. He enjoys it when things go according to plan but gets anxious when they don’t. However, he can quickly calm himself down. He gets along well with Nanami and respects Gojo but sometimes worries about Gojo’s unpredictable behavior.

In the plot, it’s clear that Kiyotaka Ijichi has been working at Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College for a while. He was already a staff member in the prequel, Jujutsu Kaisen 0.

He frequently drives people and stays updated on world events and organizes things and sets up barriers, as we have observed multiple times. Kiyotaka Ijichi knows all the main characters and has a friendly relationship with the students and staff members, although his behavior can be bureaucratic. He was a group coordinator during the Shibuya Incident, where this article’s main story starts.

Did Shigemo kill Ijichi, or did he survive?

What happened to Kiyotaka Ijichi during the Shibuya Incident? He arrived with his group before the barrier shortly after Kenjaku and Mahito started their plan. Kiyotaka Ijichi was responsible for organizing his group and coordinating with other groups, just like Nitta and the other assistants.

Shortly after entering the veil, Kiyotaka Ijichi was unexpectedly attacked from behind by Shigemo. He was severely wounded and left to die in a pool of his blood. Later, it was revealed that Shigemo killed all the outside assistants. Then, he went to find Nitta, who was his final target.

Meanwhile, Kento Nanami discovered Ijichi and, filled with anger about what had happened to him, carried him on his back to an undisclosed place. Ijichi was currently unconscious, so his future was uncertain. Nanami showed up while Nobara was fighting Shigemo. He was mad and asked Shigemo about his allies and their whereabouts. Shigemo claimed he didn’t know, so Nanami beat him up and knocked him out with a strong punch to the face.

Later, he healed Nitta, who Shigemo also injured. He then revealed that he had healed Ijichi, arriving just in time to save him from getting hurt. Nanami said his skills could have been better, but Ijichi’s studies as a jujutsu sorcerer helped him. So, Kiyotaka Ijichi survived the assassination attempt, but what happened to him afterward? We don’t know.

Gege Akutami needs to remember his characters. Throughout the story, he either confirms their fates and never uses them again (like Aoi), or he doesn’t confirm what happened to them and never uses them again (like Nobara and possibly Megumi). Ijichi is in the first group. We know he survived, but we haven’t heard about him since. We are still determining what he’s up to now.

Kento Nanami and Shoko Ieiri save Ijichi Kiyotaka in Jujutsu Kaisen

Ijichi Kiyotaka was stabbed and killed by Haruta Shigemo, a curse user. However, the assistant manager of Tokyo Jujutsu High survived with the help of Kento Nanami and Shoko Ieiri. In episode 12 of Jujutsu Kaisen, Kento Nanami found Ijichi injured near Shibuya station exit 13. He lay on the ground, bleeding heavily.

The first-grade sorcerer explained to Nitta Akari and Nobara Kugisaki about Ijichi’s condition and how he rescued him at the right time. Nanami also mentioned that Ijichi’s desire to become a Jujutsu Sorcerer meant he would continue to exist.

In the Jujutsu Kaisen manga, Ijichi Kiyotaka was brought to a medical tent. Shoko Ieiri and Takuma Ino used their reverse cursed technique to heal him there. Principal Yaga set up a medical tent and stationed Shoko Ieiri because he expected something terrible to happen.

Shoko Ieiri is famous for her skill in the reverse cursed technique. In chapter 113, she showed her brilliance by healing Ijichi. Principal Yaga said that Shoko saved Ino and Ijichi from dying.

Shoko praised Yaga for setting up a medical tent ahead of time. If Yaga had arrived after Nanami’s call, Ijichi’s life would have been at risk. However, Ijichi Kiyotaka from Jujutsu Kaisen recovered with the help of Kento Nanami and Shoko Ieiri working together.

Later, a bespectacled Jujutsu Sorcerer appears in the manga and helps Gojo Satoru with an important task. Ijichi Kiyotaka worked hard to set up a curtain for Satoru to face Ryomen Sukuna. Gojo mentioned that he trusts Ijichi the most, which shows how important Ijichi is to the Jujutsu Society.
